Membership Questions

How do I apply for a membership?

You can either apply online or send your application by mail.

To submit online, visit our Membership page, fill out the online form, and submit your payment via our secure, online credit card processor.

 

To submit via mail, print out the SMRW Application. Send your completed application with a check made out to "SMRW" reflecting "SMRW Application" in the memo line to:

How much does it cost to become a member?

Full membership is $40 per year.

Associate Membership*: Members of other clubs may become Associate Members for $20 per year.

*Non-voting membership

Name badges: (encouraged, but not required): $15 each

What do our annual dues pay for?

Annual dues pay for guest speaker compensation, part of the luncheon, special events, and fundraising.

All of the work done within our club is on a 100% volunteer basis, so all the money that comes into the club goes back to the club.

What are our affiliated clubs?

The Spring Mountain Republican Women's club (SMRW) is affiliated with the Nevada Federation of Republican Women (NvFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).

Meeting Questions

Where and when are monthly meetings?

Monthly meetings are held at Suncoast Hotel and Casino at 9090 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89145. Check-in time starts at 11:30 AM. The lunch and program start at 12:00 Noon and are scheduled to end at 1:30 PM.

Are meeting reservations required and how do I RSVP?

Meeting reservations are required and must be received no later than the Monday before the meeting.

 

To RSVP online, visit our Meetings page and purchase your lunch through our secure, online credit card processor.

To RSVP via mail, send a check made out to "SMRW" reflecting "SMRW Luncheon" with the month and year in the memo line to:

How much do meetings cost and do you offer discounts?

The meetings are $35 per person. Payments can be made via check-by-mail or online credit card payment.

 

We do not offer discounts at this time.

Will I receive a refund if I pay for a lunch, but do not attend the meeting?

Meeting cancellations must be received no later than the Monday before the meeting to receive a full refund

Can non-members attend meetings?

Non-members are always welcome to make a reservation and join us at our meetings! Members can also add guests to their online or mail-in RSVP.

Am I required to attend meetings every month?

Meetings are not mandatory, but we encourage you to attend as many as possible. Not only do we receive vital information that we pass along to all of our members, but our meetings also feature guest speakers working in government, politics, military, law enforcement and much more ... and we have fun getting to chat with other like-minded individuals. You definitely don't want to miss out on all the fun!

How can I volunteer with SMRW?

How do I submit my volunteer hours?

To submit via email, print out the SMRW Volunteer Hours Form, fill it out, then scan and send it to: JudyPugmire@yahoo.com

 

To submit in person, print out the SMRW Volunteer Hours Form, fill it out and bring it with you to the next SMRW Luncheon.

Your hours will contribute to our club's total volunteer hours, which are then submitted to the Nevada Federation of Republican Women.

What type of volunteer hours count toward the SMRW total?

Please review the National Federation of Republican Women's Volunteer Hours Policy to determine what type of volunteer hours contribute toward out total.

Why do I need to submit my volunteer hours?

As an affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Women, SMRW is recognized for our members' promotion of Republican ideals through volunteerism. Making sure to log your volunteer hours contributes toward the legitimacy of our club and can provide opportunities for us to make an even larger impact in the future.
